Thursday
Cloudy skies through Scotland and Northern Ireland this morning after an early ground frost across sheltered areas of England and Wales. Periods of rain in northern and western Scotland, drizzle over northern coasts of Northern Ireland. Drier for other areas with some good spells of sunshine across central and southern England, Wales and Ireland. Rain slips through most of Scotland and northern England and northern Wales as well as Northern Ireland this afternoon. Staying drier to the south. Patchy rain arrives in the Midlands and Wales by evening. Highs at 9 to 14C.


Thursday Night
An area of showery rain clearing southeastwards through tonight. Drier weather follows from the north, although some showers in northern and western Scotland as well as over western coasts of England, Wales and Ireland. Lows at 3 to 7C.

 
 
 


Friday
Remnants of rain early on Friday morning over the far south of England. This clearing south. Brighter skies for many and feeling cool. Some showers around windward facing coasts and hills. This afternoon is mostly dry and bright with more sunny spells. Scattered showers still affecting parts of Kent. Highs at 7 to 12C.
 


Saturday
High pressure is expected to be over the British Isles on Saturday. A few morning mist patches clearing quickly. The day is then going to be dry and fair with plenty of sunshine. Some cloud affecting eastern coasts, perhaps with a showers over coasts of eastern England. Thicker cloud in northern Scotland, some drizzle in the far northwest. Highs at 10 to 12C.
