UK Forecast - January 18, 2017
Sunnier south
Much cloud elsewhere

Wednesday
Another quiet weather day across the UK and Ireland. Early frost in southern parts of England will allow for the best of the sunshine to occur here again. Elsewhere it is going to be cloudier. There could be some murky and drizzle affecting central areas of England and Wales with a sopt of drizzle. Most will be dry with cloud breaking in eastern Scotland to allow a few bright spells here. Highs at 9C in northern Scotland, 5C in southeast England.

Thursday Night
More cloud through tonight, although this is likely to be breaking to allow some clearer spells to develop. The best of the clear skies in southern England with a widespread frost here. Temperatures falling to -2C in southern England, more generally 0 to 2C.

Friday
High pressure remains over the UK on Friday brings lots of dry weather. A weak front brings more cloud through East Anglia, the Midlands and southern England giving more cloud here. A chance of some drizzle on hills. Breaks in the cloud will occur, these most likely in northern England and Ireland with sunny spells here. Thicker cloud in northern Scotland. Highs at 4 to 7C.

Saturday
High pressure to the east of the UK on Saturday. It is expected to be mostly cloudy in more western areas. Eastern parts could have bright or sunny spells, although it is important to note that predicting where cloud will be is very difficult at this stage. Plenty of dry weather around, but some drizzle over the hills. Highs at 3 to 7C.
