Warmer later this week
Any rain soon clears the south east early this morning. Showers are expected to be scattered across the country. These may be heaviest in the morning across northern England. Mainly dry in the south today. A cooler day than of late with highs of 13 to 18C.
During the evening and night still rain comes in across northern Scotland. Just a few showers around western coasts today otherwise a dry, rather chilly night to come. Expect lows of 5 to 9 Celsius.
If you're heading abroad, eastern parts of Europe look settled and dry.
