Morning Call - July 30, 2012
Sunny spells and dry
Rain in southwest later

Issued: 0530hrs Monday 30th July 2011
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Heavy showers over the northern UK, but drier to ther south before rain moves into the southwest later

Good morning, It's not going to be a bad start to the week. There will be some showers over Scotland, and these may be heavy. A few heavy showers could affect northern parts of England and also Northern Ireland too. These showers should be fading into the afternoon, becoming more patchy.

For more southern parts of England and Wales there will be sunny spells and it should be dry at first. Cloud and rain will be spilling into southern Ireland, and then spreading into southwest England in the late afternoon and evening.

Tonight sees mainly light rain in southern England, with more persistent rain for the south of Ireland.

Have a great day.
