A humid day with mist and murk on western coasts and hills
Good morning, A warm front is travelling northwards through today and this is going to be wafting more humid air through most areas, but especially central and southern parts of England. Here, if the sun comes through, we could find temperatures reaching 27C at Wimbledon, certainly way warmer than we have been used to for several weeks.
Cloudier skies across Ireland and northwest England as well as Scotland. Outbreaks of rain are likely in these areas on and off through the day. Fog is going to be a problem around western coasts; shrouding the hills and lapping in from the sea.
It is only going to be short-lived flirtation with the warmer weather though because overnight today cooler, fresher conditions will be spreading from the west, bringing rain.
Have a great day.
