Morning Call - April 16, 2012
Sunny spells
A few showers

Issued: 0530hrs Monday 16th April 2012
Duty forecaster: John Ejdowski

Gales and heavy rain tonight

Quite a cold to start the day and frosty. We'll still see a few showers across England and Wales but also lots of dry, sunny weather. Out to the west it clouds over with some rain reaching Northern Ireland before the end of the afternoon. Temperatures of 8 to 11C.

Strong winds as heavy rain sweeps in across all but East Anglia and the south east through the evening and night. So not as cold tonight with lows of 3 to 6C.

If you're heading abroad, much of Europe along with the Mediterranean is looking unsettled and windy with showers and heavy rain.

Be sure to check out the Weatheronline Week Ahead forecast for more information on the weather across the United Kingdom for the next seven days. Have a good day.
