Scattered showers will affect Wales and northern parts of England today but the south staying dry and mild. Temperatures of just 2C to the far north of Scotland, around 10 to 12 Celsius for most places with a few spots in the far south maybe touching 14 Celsius.

This evening is likely that snow gets going and turns heavy across Scotland and could lead some disruption some local heavy falls even to low levels. Rain with hill snow effects northern England tonight and could also reach the low levels by morning. Minimum temperatures will be down to 1 to 4 Celsius.

If you're heading abroad, much of Europe along with the western Mediterranean is looking unsettled with snow across eastern Europe and Scandinavia. Lots of showers to come across Spain as well.
