Good spells of sunshine in the south of the UK, but rain & showers to the north and west
Good morning, Low pressure is dominating the weather throughout today. Fronts are swirling around the low. These are bringing cloud and periods of rain, most of it affecting more western parts of Wales, Scotland and England with some heavy showers in Ireland too.
More eastern and central areas of the country are likely to be brighter with some bright spells, although there could be some showers here as well. More persistent rain affects the far north of Scotland as well as western coasts of Scotland too.
The best sunshine is going to be in the far south of England where it should be remaining dry.
Have a great day.
