Heavy rain affecting northern parts of England and southern Scotland
Good morning, Plenty of cloud around this morning over much of Ireland and the UK. There will be periods of rain affecting Ireland, Wales and the western parts of England. Heavier rain will be affecting northern and western Ireland in the afternoon, this also affecting northwest England too.
Western coasts of England and Wales will have low cloud and drizzle, as well as mist and fog patches. However, inland parts of the Midlands and southern England may well become brighter with some sunny spells coming through. Where these occur it will be feeling very warm.
For central and northern Scotland there will be some sunny spells, but showers affecting the far north.
Have a great day. Simon me at simon.keeling@weatheronline.co.uk
