High pressure dominates to bring about fine and settled conditions and many areas warm, locally very warm.
It's a fine start to Friday with bright or sunny spells across England and Wales in particular. It is cloudier across Scotland and Ireland with a few showers present across W Scotland and N Ireland. Through the rest of the morning and many areas will be dry though with bright or sunny spells and becoming warm across inland areas.
A very pleasant end to Friday is forecast with plenty of evening sunshine and remaining warm across inland areas into the evening as well. All areas then dry into the overnight period with clear spells and some variable cloud, but with local mist and fog patches possible.
