Cooling off

Today central, southern parts of England with some good sunny spells as morning low. Look out for some heavy showers that will develop in the afternoon. Generally more cloud is expected across Scotland and northern England with some patchy morning rain then afternoon showers. Top temperatures of 17 to 22C.
 


Further showers are likely to persist during the evening with the risk of some rain moving south along eastern coasts of Scotland and England tonight. Lows of 8 to 11C.

 
 
 


If you're heading abroad, eastern parts of Europe will see lots of thundery showers while it looks sunniest and warmest across western Europe and throughout the Mediterranean.
