Yet more rain to come in the north and west with heavy showers east and south; windy for all

Good morning, Well after yesterdays heavy rain, you could be forgiven for thinking there can't be any more water left up there! Well, there is, and most of it is going to be falling across northwest England and Wales through the course of today. There will be further rain in northeast England and southern Scotland too, as well as the southwest.

Some brighter skies to the east with some sunny spells, but there will be frequent blustery showers as well. Windy too for all with severe gales in the west with gusts across Wales, southwest England and Ireland above 60mph.

Central and northern Scotland should be brighter at first, but the cloud and rain moving in here through the morning and afternoon. Gales across the north and west of Scotland too.

Have a great day.
