Filotas: A rather cloudy day for most on Saturday with outbreaks of rain for western and northern parts of Ireland and Scotland, and over Wales and northwest England. Further south and east it will be a generally dry day. Rain will turn heavy over western and then central Scotland in the afternoon. Some very light rain will push south later in the afternoon. Temperature will rise up to around 12C in north and 19C in south.

John : Cloudy start for all this morning, prolonged and heavy snow now across Scotland from Argyll through Lanarkshire to Fife and Moray will continue through most of the morning slowly clearing from the south with further rain, to Highland and Shetland later. Winds fresh E/NE with gales on coasts temperature -1 with snow later 3C high windchill. Remainder of England and Wales rain continuing during the morning being prolonged and heavy across Cumbria to Northumberland, rain easing with cloud breaking during the afternoon across southern counties, wind fresh S/SW with gales for Devon, Cornwall and into Wales temperatures 10C

Filotas: A cloudy evening and night with rain, this being heavy in places. Overnight over Scotland expect heavy snow over the mountains, but possibly some wet snow even down to low levels over the eastern counties. Rain will gradually clear from the south, with heavy showers following. Strong winds with gales in exposure and over high ground. Minimum temperatures at 1C over Scotland but much milder over the south with minimums of 12C.

Elsewhere the morning will be rather cloudy with a few showers, mostly over Ireland and western Scotland. Rain will be more persistent and heavy over eastern Ireland, Wales, Northern England, southern and eastern Scotland, while elsewhere it will be more light and patchy. Once more thick cloud and some light rain will reach Southern Ireland and southwest England later in the afternoon. John : remaining cloudy with rain for most though snow with height, across Highland to Tayside and Fife later Northern Isles, fresh NE wind temperatures 4C inland nearer 7C along coasts. Outbreaks of rain and later scattered showers for Antrim to Dumfries running across Cumbria to Northumberland through the afternoon though as showers decrease increasing amounts of sunshine into the evening, 10 to 12C. Dry for now across Wales, and much of England, though scattered showers are running across Sussex to Kent and Norfolk into the afternoon 12 to 14C during the afternoon. Cloud will be increasing through the afternoon across Cornwall, Devon, later Dorset to Glamorgan to Wiltshire with outbreaks of rain at first through the evening becoming persistent over much of southern and central England and Wales.

Sunshine for Devon and Cornwall this morning though cloudy later with rain by evening. For the remainder of England and into Wales a dry start with sunshine, continuing with sunshine during the morning, temperatures 7C at first to 14C for Shropshire & Cheshire to Leicestershire through the afternoon.
