Filotas: Thursday will be cloudier than of late for most areas. Elsewhere expect occasional showers, more frequent over the English east coast, but some inland too. Through the afternoon it will become cloudier over southwestern Ireland with outbreaks of rain. Mostly light winds with maximum temperatures at around at 9C in north and 12C in south.

Filotas: A few showers over the English east coast through the evening and night, otherwise most areas will see dry conditions with clear spells. Occasional showers overnight across Shetland, and a few over Orkney and northeast Scotland possibly in the early hours. Mostly light winds but breezy in northeast. Minimum temperatures at 3-5C for most, but dropping to -1C over Northeast Scotland and Wales, any from the coast.

Filotas: The day starts mostly dry and bright with sunny spells for most, the longer ones over Ireland and western Scotland. Further east, especially close to the coast it will cloudier with occasional showers, these more frequent over East Anglia and Kent. A few morning showers over Wales and central England, but soon turning drier. Maximum temperatures at 9-10C over most parts, but reaching 14C over southwest Ireland.

John : Scattered showers now running along North Sea coasts from Shetland to Kent will also run inland across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire on into Sussex during the remainder of the afternoon fading from the north into the evening though lingering into the early evening across Sussex temperature 8C now cooling to around5C through the evening with onshore NE winds near coasts. Elsewhere across Scotland, Wales and England dry though rather cloudy for the afternoon and into the evening with some sunshine where cloud breaks. Continuing dry with variable cloud overnight temperatures generally 2 to 4C with widespread ground and patchy air frost where skies remain clear across Scotland into northern England Cumbria to Northumberland, Welsh borders, Shropshire to Avon, Berkshire to Dorset with temperature near 0C

John : Dry and sunny for most of central Scotland for the remainder of the morning, some isolated showers currently running onto north Highland 7C now rising to 9C during the afternoon. Cloud breaking with increasing sunshine through the midlands to sw England with scattered showers Glamorgan to Somerset, mainly dry midlands,11 to 13C some frequent showers along North Sea coasts with a fresh onshore giving high windchill temperatures 8C during the afternoon

John : Dry for west and central Scotland, with a fine though cold start with both ground and air frost, 4C mid-morning 10C generally through the afternoon though 14 to 16C Argyll, Ayrshire and Stirling. Cloudy though mainly dry morning for rest of Scotland, scattered showers through the afternoon 10C though 8C along coasts. England and Wales dry though cloudy to start with sunshine south and west, cloud breaking during the morning for midlands and southeast 10 to 12 generally. Scattered showers for North Sea coasts with a fresh Ne wind 8C.
