Issued: 09:16hrs Friday 23th February 2018

Garry: A frosty morning for many, and a chilly day ahead. It's dry and fairly bright with sunshine best in the south & west currently.

Issued: 13:27hrs Thursday 22th February 2018

Garry: There's some sunshine around, generally best toward the south & east this afternoon. Overcast skies for many central areas. Likely breaking tonight to give widespread frost.

Issued: 09:22hrs Thursday 22th February 2018

Garry: A mix of persistent cloud and some bright sunny periods across the country today, but it will be dry for all. Feeling cool, max 4 to 6C.

Issued: 15:33hrs Wednesday 21th February 2018

Matt: Cloudy weather persists through central areas of England and much of Wales, but with plenty of clear skies elsewhere. Variable cloud continues tonight, but tonight will see the first night where a more widespread slight frost will develop across most inland areas. Chilly Thursday morning will follow.

Issued: 11:44hrs Wednesday 21th February 2018

Matt: Fine weather continues for many, but there are some light showers across parts of E England, particularly Yorkshire and down towards Lincolnshire, but these are the exception to what is a dry afternoon ahead with some bright or sunny spells, these prolonged at times in the north and west.

Issued: 07:57hrs Wednesday 21th February 2018

Matt: A fine start to the day across many areas as high pressure now dominates. Some variable cloud and the odd isolated shower across N England, but emphasis is on a lot of dry weather through the morning with spells of late winter sunshine. Chilly mind, especially where there is some cloud.

Issued: 15:36hrs Tuesday 20th February 2018

Matt: Some patchy rain or a few showers will linger this evening and overnight across some eastern areas of England. Elsewhere a dry night with clear spells and variable cloud. Frost is expected across more northern and western areas of the British Isles in particular.

Issued: 12:06hrs Tuesday 20th February 2018

Matt: Fine weather continues for many this aftenroon but still with some nuisance value rain and drizzle across the eastern areas of E Anglia and the extreme SE of England. Many other areas will continue to experience a dry afternoon, pleasant enough in some late winter sunshine too despite a cool breeze.

Issued: 08:06hrs Tuesday 20th February 2018

Matt: Residual rain and drizzle across parts of E England and E Anglia will linger today, but emphasis is on many areas having a much brighter, if not sunnier day than Monday but it will feel cooler. Temperatures have been low enough for some frost across Scotland and parts of N England.

Issued: 15:22hrs Monday 19th February 2018

Matt: Misty and damp conditions continue this evening and overnight, but will, eventually, become restricted to more eastern areas of England through into Tuesday morning as a cold front introduces cooler, clearer conditions into many northern and western areas tonight.

Issued: 14:05hrs Monday 19th February 2018

Matt: Temperatures widely up to 10C to 13C across more northern and western areas of the British Isles. One of the mildest days in a number of weeks. Temperatures up to 12C, for example, at Glasgow Airport as of 1330Z.

Issued: 11:57hrs Monday 19th February 2018

Matt: Misty and murky conditions continue with some light or moderate, rain or drizzle still across many eastern areas of England and Scotland. Some cloud breaks now though across W Scotland, NW England, Wales, SW England and Ireland. Mild as well for most areas.

Issued: 07:58hrs Monday 19th February 2018

Matt: Cloudy and damp start to the new working week for many areas, but especially across more eastern areas of the British Isles where light or locally moderate rain or drizzle is present. Some extensive low cloud and hill fog present too. A mild start though.
