Wednesday 8/7/09 Low pressure is going to be in the North Sea today, with a cool west to northwest flow covering the country. There will be some showers almost anywhere, the most frequent of them around northern and western coasts of Scotland and Northern Ireland. Fair over the far south of England with the fewest showers here. Temperatures at 14C in northern Scotland, 19C in the far south of England.
Thursday 9/7/09 The showers tend to continue through northern Scotland today, and will probably drift to affect eastern coasts too. Further west pressure is going to be higher and this will act to make the showers more isolated here. For much of Wales, southwest England and Ireland the weather is going to be mainly fair with sunny spells. Highs at 15C in eastern England and Scotland, 20C along southern coasts of England.
Friday 10/7/09 Further showers for the east of Scotland and England, although these are likely to become more isolated. For much of Scotland, England, Wales and eastern Ireland the day should be dry with sunny spells and light winds. Increasing cloud in western Ireland may bring some patchy rain here. Highs at 17C on eastern coasts, but warmer in the west at 23C.
Saturday 11/7/09 The showers could become heavier through Scotland and northern England as well as East Anglia today. Sunny spells between the showers, the best of the sunshine over western parts of the country, and through Ireland too. The best of the sunshine over southern Scotland and Wales with temperatures at 17C in eastern Scotland, 22C in southwest England.
Sunday 12/7/09 Indications are that there will be some thicker cloud and outbreaks of rain through Ireland and the west of Scotland. More eastern and central areas of the country are expected to be drier with sunny spells. There could be cloud in the far west at times, but to the east is where the best of the sunshine will be. Highs at 16C in northwest Scotland, 23C in southeast England.
